HON. S.O.B AGUNBIADE LAYED A REPORT


Our water ways is a veritable means of transportation with huge potentials for economics dividends, as well as tourist attraction and employment opportunities; we therefore owe it a duty to protect this asset of the state of aquatic splendor.

The incessant boat mishap on Lagis State water ways became so worrisome and that caused the Lagos State House of Assembly under the leadership of Rt Hon. Mudasiru Obasa to set up an 11 men Ad-hoc committee, which was chaired by Hon. SOB Agunbiade to deliberate on the problems confronting the water transportation, with a view of proffering solution to the incessant boat mishap in the State.

as part of their duty, they invited all stakeholders in water transportation to a meeting, to engage them and learn from them on how best to tackle the causative factors precipitating the incessant boat mishap in the state.

The Majority Leader (Hon. S.O.B Agunbiade) on Tuesday 3rd of May, on the floor of the House of Assembly layed the report of the committee to the House.

recomendation of the committee will be published when the committee present its report hopefully next week.
