HON. S.O.B yesterday, Tuesday 12th of June at the House of Assembly raised the issue
of the dangerous blind end of the concrete divide on Ikorodu / Mile 12road.
In his presentation, Hon. Agunbiade Appreciated the gesture of the Government of Lagos State that provided the BRT corridor with the state of the Art infrastructure, to ease vehicular movements and reduce travel time from Ikorodu to Lagos.
He however described the blind end of concrete divide on the road as danger points that have engendered repeated accidents in the last few months.
Hon. Agunbiade stated that the situation has become so worrisome as vehicle constantly run into and over these blind ends on the divide, especially at night.
He submitted that these danger and incessant accidents will be averted if the blind ends are painted in reflective paints or have warning sign post in reflective colours erected at the points.
He prayed that the House calls on the Commissioner for Transportation to erect warning signals at the blind ends and paint the ends with reflective colours.
The prayers were adopted as the resolution of the House which the Speaker directed the clerk to communicate to the said Commissioner.
