A follow up with the Governor on my letter of plea for palliative repair of the damaged portions of the road, got the General Manager of The Lagos State Public Works Corporation linked up with me and on Friday 14th August, the GM nominee: Engineer Hussein and I were on the road to examine the condition, to be able to determine the extent or palliative work required on the Lagos State divide of the road.
I am glad to inform that very soon, palliative repair will commence on Lagos State divide of the Road - starting from Oriwu Club area to Ita Oluwo border point.
I wish to inform further that while I am pushing for a palliative repair of this Federal Road, by the State Government, My brother Babajimi Benson (Member House of Reps) representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency is pushing for Wholistic rehabilitation of the same Road by the Federal Government.
Please be informed therefore that the condition of the road is being addressed from two ends and you can be rest assured that the state Government will make the road more motorable before the Federal Government comes to discharge its responsibilities on the road.
what concerns us as your representatives is your well being and that is our commitment.
If you ply this road, please bear with us a little more, the sufferings will soon be over.
I am yours sincerely,
Agunbiade S.O.B
Member representing Ikorodu Constituency 1.
